Students shall always wear the College I.D Card and follow the Institutional dress code while attending the classes either in the College, Hospital, Laboratory, Library or during University Exams, Viva, Practical or Internal Assessment exams.
All students must be in possession of their identity cards. Any loss should be promptly reported to the office. The cards must not be mutilated, defaced or rendered ineffective for identification. All students are expected to keep their ID cards securely and not to give to anyone else.
The identity card is valid for the regular duration of the program.
If a student for any reason loses the identity card, the loss must be brought to the notice of the college office in writing. The duplicate/replacement identity card will be issued on payment of Rs. 500/-.
The card must be returned at the termination of program/ withdrawal from the institute.
All students must behave politely, respectfully and empathetically with all patients, patients’ relatives and other general public and must demonstrate a well behaved attitude towards them during posting in hospitals and elsewhere.
All students are provided with medical insurance that takes care of their health needs for the duration of their program(all must have health insurance). Students are encouraged to make use of the facilities available at St. Joseph’s Hospital. While going to the Hospital kindly take the Health Card.
The students shall attend all campus activities organized on various occasions like Independence Day, Republic Day, Kannada Rajyotsava, Lamp Lighting and Graduation Day. Fresher’s Day and other Institutional functions and programmes. Attendance is mandatory for all the co-curricular activities including General Body Meetings. Students coming from home need to make necessary arrangements and make sure that they attend the General Body Meetings and Co-curricular activities.
St. Joseph’s Institutions, encourages all its students to actively participate in the sports and cultural events of the College. The best sports facilities are available to all students.
The annual Cultural/Sports week is usually held in August and students are given the opportunity to plan and present cultural programs. For further details please contact Faculty Coordinator for cultural activities.
